Freedom from Parasites...the Africanised Honey Bee..Part 2/1.

Background
"The Africanized honey bee is directly descended from the Tanzanian queen, who was accidentally released by a replacement bee-keeper in 1957 in the south-east of Brazil.  Hives containing these particular queens were noted to be especially defensive.

The hives, the bees were released from had special excluder grates to prevent larger queen bees and drones from getting out and mating with local(non-African) queens and drones.  Unfortunately, following the accidental release, the queens and drones mated with local queens and drones, and their descendants have since spread throughout the Americas.

African Queen Bees will identify a hive, infiltrate it and sting the placid European Queen to death, she will then take over and turn the hive into a killer hive, making them virtually unmanageable to bee keepers and even turn them into hyper-defensive killing machines.

It would have just been better for the whole BEE WORLD if that mistake hadn't been made back in 1957. Its now got totally out of control - preventative is better than trying to fix the mistake afterwards."

A man needs to know how to take responsibility for his hive and help prevent parasites from infiltrating...
